Helicopteros Sanitarios was the proud sponsor of the 2011 Christmas Hamper Event held at the Benalmadena Bowls Club.
The Tournament, which was a great success, started at 9.30am with 32 participants appropriately dressed in Christmas attire. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful weather during the day and the great performance of the players.

Many prizes were awarded and, among them, the three Grand Hampers generously filled with delicatessen from around the world.
We were all winners on this day as everyone had a marvellous time in a sunny environment and unsurpassable company.

| OFFICIAL RECOGNITION FOR A CAREER |

On October 3rd the President of Helicopteros Sanitarios Maria José Cañete, received from the Mayor of Malaga, H. E. Mr. Francisco De La Torre, the White Cross Medal of Police Merit. This distinction was awarded in recognition to the efforts exerted by this organization over the past 23 years, working and collaborating with the police in the best interest of the citizens.

| Ambulance Miracle! |

On Sunday August 28th, 2011, a 30 year old woman gave birth to a 3 Kg. baby in a Helicopteros Sanitarios ICU ambulance.
During transfer the baby was impatient and could not wait to reach Costa del Sol Regional Hospital, so finally the baby was born at 7:15 pm.

The Helicopteros Sanitarios team consisting of Doctor, Nurse and Driver, attended the delivery and minutes after birth, mother and son arrived at the hospital safe and sound and in good health.

Masters de Tenis Marbella 2011 |

For the second consecutive year, Helicopteros Sanitarios has been active in sponsoring the Marbella Masters Tennis Tournament held on the 25th, 26th and 27th of August at the Hotel Puente Romano Tennis Club.
On this occasion Helicopteros Sanitarios was proud to offer honorary memberships to the attending players of the tournament with the expectation on enjoying their presence in upcoming tournaments.

| The 2008 Roadmap |

On behalf of everyone at Helicopteros Sanitarios, I would like to extend my warmest wishes to you all. This letter is an opportunity for me to bring you up to date with all of our recent developments.
In particular, I would like to tell you about the new electrocardiogram (ECG) equipment which we have recently purchased. It enables our doctors to take ECG data from you at your home and transmit it to our experienced cardiologist at our headquarters.

This enables the cardiologist to make the highest quality diagnosis by liaising directly with your doctor without you having to leave the comfort of your own home.
One in three adults is unaware of the threat of heart disease and having a regular ECG can be a key part of its prevention. |

We would like to encourage you to take the opportunity to have an annual general medical check up.
We can now offer this service to members in the privacy and comfort of their own homes. |
| Alternatively, you may prefer to visit one of our health centres in Marbella, Fuengirola or Manilva.
Our doctors will complete a detailed questionnaire of your medical history, perform an ECG as well as determining your blood oxygen level. In addition we will take blood and urine samples for analysis. We will then arrange for you to have a discussion of all of the results of these tests with our doctors.

Since the beginning of the year, we have expanded our fleet of ambulances with the introduction of two new intensive care units. By acquiring two more later in the year we intend to reach a total of 14 ambulances.However our most important acquisition for this year is our new twin engined Eurocopter EC-135. |

It has the most advanced technology and medical equipment available on it and it will enable us to save still more lives.
New European aviation law (JAR-OPS3) requires Helicopteros Sanitarios to make this significant investment and it seems more than justified, given the regular lives that we have saved over the years by having the ability to airlift members, who need urgent medical attention, to nearby hospitals.
