Nursing Services

Our kind and gentle nursing staff are available for home visits or at our base to apply dressings, injections, attend to patients requiring postoperative processes, give vaccinations, do analyses, check blood sugar levels and blood pressure etc. using the most modern and effective techniques and a generous dose of compassion.

Auxiliary home care can also be arranged, tailored to the individual patients needs from hourly visits to round-the-clock care.

Medical Check-Up

All doctors recommend an Annual Check-up. When did you last have yours? Annual check-ups are simple with Helicópteros Sanitarios. Early identification of risk factors is essential to motivate lifestyle changes that encourage health, well-being and longevity. Helicópteros Sanitariosng>, offers medical check-ups to its members in Marbella and Fuengirola clinics and will offer them in the soon to be opened center in San Luis de Sabinillas.

General Check-Up:

Your check-up is completed in two phases.

First, our receptionist will give you an appointment and instructions for fasting before you arrive for your blood and urine test. Samples will be taken to determine metabolic functions, glycaemia, cholesterol, triglycerides, kidney and liver function, blood velocity, globular sedimentation, white and red blood corpuscle count, platelets, i.e. a thorough blood analysis. Urine will be analyzed for residues and abnormalities.

Next, you will come for a full medical examination. The doctor will complete a detailed questionnaire about your medical history, and carry out the following procedures:

Cardiac and pulmonary exploration
Cardiac and respiratory frequency
Oxygen level in blood

Electrocardiogram: 12 contact points
Blood pressure test
Control and measurements of vital signs

The doctor will then review and explain the results of the tests, and should it be necessary, modify your prescribed daily medication and propose specific tests should any anomaly be detected, and even refer you to a specialists, if deemed necessary.

Repatriation

A patient can request repatriation and treatment anywhere in Spain, Europe or any corner of the world. The patient is accompanied by a specialized medical team administering life support and resuscitation throughout the voyage (departure from their home or hospital room to point of destination).
We have coordinated transfers to Madrid, Barcelona, Moscow, London, Dublin, Amsterdam, Morocco, Protugal, Shanghai, Turin and Switzerland.
We organize all travel and financial details so the patient can have a worry free and restful flight.
